My friend had this at high heat and she noticed her hair was burning (literally turning her hair a different color). So she turned it off and when she attempted it again put it only to half heat. As I was talking to her and watching her do her hair chunks of her hair began falling out. Her hair is not colored and she didn't have any products than what she normally uses every day. She's flat ironed her hair every day for at least the past 5 years and has never experienced this. It was terrible and smelt horrible!
