Review: Love the balm, but irritating package.

My all-time favorite is Burt's Bees, but it's a bit waxy to use under lipstick or gloss. This Minted Rose balm is absolutely wonderful under, over or mixed with lipstick ...if I can get the darn tin open! I've resorted to leaving it open on my bedside table, especially since it's is so great on my cuticles and heels, and carrying Burt in my handbag. So while the tin is really cute, it just doesn't work for me.
Follow-up in late June, 2010 -- The maker has ignored THREE emails asking for tips on getting the tin open, since lubing it with balm doesn't work, and keeping it clean and dry is even worse. So since the company doesn't care about its customers and/or has no answer on how to get to the balm, screw 'em. I'll never buy this again, and I'll be sure to let everyone know if the subject comes up. Jerks. Anyway, I'm happily back to Burt's Bees full-time.
