Review: ok, defintely not a miracle product
Beauty product: 2 Stars

i think i bought this one for the nostalgic packaging, and the lofty claims. it's not too special. if you like this smell of rosewater, i'm sure you'll like it. it's pretty much useless for any other purpose. ;)

Review: Lasts forever
Beauty product: 4 Stars

I purchased 2 tins about 3 years ago and lost one at the airport this winter going through security. Now my other is getting low so these do last a long time. I had a really bad headcold last week and used this on my nose to prevent it getting raw and it worked great. My cold is gone and I don't have a peeling, flakey nose to show for it now. It does melt if you leave it in a hot place, like your car.

Review: What a shock!
Beauty product: 3 Stars

I am committed to lip balm because I speak a lot and am in and out of doors frequently. This produyct had such a great rep that I really was looking forward to using it. What a disapointment! Somehow--from the name--I thought there might be a hint of rose or rose smell. Not at all. Instead the product is quite thick and heavy and has a nasty taste if it gets in your mouth. The tin is large and a good value for the price, but the edges on the tin are razor sharp and could actually cut a small child. Not recommended at all when so many other better products are available.

Review: Rosebud Salve
Beauty product: 4 Stars

It is essential oils in a petroleum base, but it comes in such a smart little tin that its worth the price. I prefer Burt's Bees for my cuticles, but I recommend Rosebud Salve as a lip balm. It does soothe chapped lips quickly.

Review: Nice product but pkg encourages bacteria
Beauty product: 3 Stars

I love the smell and like to put it on my lips at night, but dipping your fingers into this little tin repeatedly must mean repeatedly putting bacteria in it. I guess I could use a Qtip to scoop some out but then that's one more thing to add to my nightstand drawer. I wish they'd come out with it in a squeeze tube to avoid the contamination issue.
