What is nice about this product has nothing to do with its efficacy and everything to do with its lifespan. In fact, it can take a bit of time to even get used to the feeling, but I've had the product for 5 months and it hasn't even shown a sign of wear after weekly use.
Probably the biggest downside to the product is that since it doesn't wear down the nail dust clings to it. Every handful or so of strokes you will need to wipe it off, so it really requires some cloth to go with it.
Despite the few annoyances (sometimes it feels like scratching a chalkboard), it is -definitely- worth it. You will save some money if you currently use emery boards.
