Honestly, for the price I paid for these, I really shouldn't complain a whole lot. They aren't the best brushes in the world, and they aren't the worst. What I do like about the brushes are:
1) They look sleek and come in a very cute leather pouch that is black
2) Looking at the brushes, they look very high quality
3) The fan brushes are absolutely adorable
4) Some of the eyeshadow brushes are very useful and there's plenty of them in all sizes
What I dont like about these brushes:
1) They are not very dense, which leads them to not be the best quality of brushes
2) I find myself having to remember to reach for these, to make sure I use them. I wouldn't reach for them naturally.
3) I received two of the same exact powder brushes, which are not even very good quality. They do not pick up color and they don't evenly distribute any powder.
4) These brushes shed like crazy. I washed them before I used them, and then washed them again after using two or three. I deep conditioned them and they still shed a lot.
After having washed them 5 times now, and making sure I let them sit while they were being deep conditioned, the brushes have finally become a lot softer. I'm starting to like them now, but a few of them more than others. I like a good powder brush and I was really disappointed in the face brushes given in this set.
For a good and inexpensive face brush, I ordered them from Coastal Scents, and will just replace the ones I got in this kit, with those. Thankfully, I did receive a great pouch to store all my brushes, so even for $35, the pouch alone is worth it.

Got my brushes today, about 6 days after ordering which isn't that long considering I am in rural Texas. Right away, I noticed a bit of shedding when I opened the bag. My main concern though was the horrible smell of the black "leather" bag. My eyes began to water and I started to feel sick from the fumes coming from the bag. I placed the bagged set in my drawer but still could smell the chemical type odor hours later. I tossed the bag in the garbage a a bit ago, and I am letting the brushes air out by an open window. I have begun examining and experimenting with each brush. They seem to work fine so far. I wish they were labeled though. Most of these look the exact same shape but just different hair length and sizes. Still trying to figure out which one of the face brushes is supposed to be the kabuki brush? I must say as far as cheap brushes go, I think I'll stick with Eco Tools and Elf. Review: Too good for the money I spent , certainly recommend!!!

I could have gotten one MAC brushes with this money, but I got the whole collection, brushes are so smooth and hair never fall off, I tried them with my mineral collection, they are the best, I already had a kabuki brush and I honetly will throw that away, the brushes are so great, Im so happy with my purchase, when I bought them I thought I would get a low quality chinese item, but when they arrived, it was amazing, the packaging was beautiful, leather pouch (real leather, you can smell the leather, not a vinyl) when you open it the first brush is the biggest brush which you barely can see it in pictures of the seller, he may want to change the picture because what I got is much more beautiful than what was listed online, light and smooth handle, easy to use grip makes it very comfortable, this is probably the best one so far I have got from makeup shop. would recommend Review: Um, yes please!

I was excited/slightly nervous to get theses brushes. Mainly because this deal seems too good to be true! But, I have to say I am quite happy with them. They are very soft, and I didn't notice any shedding at all. The case they came in is high quality. They do smell a little funny, but I expect that's because they are new. Overall I am excited to create new make up looks with these brushes.
***Note:this set doesn't come with a crease brush :(

Very disappointed :( Didn't expect a lot for $25 but there's really no variety of shadow brushes :/ If you are makeup artist like I am you know what it means to have good allover shadow brush in your collection as well as blending brush not to mention other brushes... All shadow brushes in this set look more like concealer brushes (you can't see on this photo)... They're flat and on the top of it poor quality :( I should have save my $25 and add them to purchase a Sigma brushes which in my opinion are one of the best brushes on the market... Ohh well...
