I thought my quest to find a good hair gel product ended when I found this item. The reviews were great and i thought if it worked on everybody else, then its got to work on my hair. However, just like other products this did not work on my hair, acutally it was worse. I wanted to go for a spiky/bed/full volume hair and this does the opposite. Each strand of hair sticks out individually, which i personally do not like. Also most gel residue come out after washing your hair with water, but this product just sticks in like glue, its hard to get it out with water. After applying the product, your hair will feel very different, like strands of fiber optic. I used it when i had longer hair ... horrible. Then got my hair cut(to short), and still horrible. After talking to my barber, he said i need something with out water and alcohol in the gel. This has both, and the other products i used to use have both. Also this product is liquid consistency, not like gel. I am probably going to try the gel at the barber shop that i go to. It does not have water, alcohol and is "clean". Short Sexy Hair Hard Up Gel
