This sisal exfoliator is rough, but in a good way. It really smooths my skin and doesn't irritate it. If you have really sensitive skin, this mitt might be too much. I have regular skin--not especially dry or sensitive--and it is great. The only problem I have with the product is that it doesn't work at all as a mitt. My hand doesn't fit in it, and once I got it wet, it shrank up so that I couldn't fit my hand in it at all. I just use it as a cloth, but it's awkward. I'm still using it--it does the job and the price is right--but be aware that it isn't going to work as an actual mitt. It would be much better if the company used the same material and made a wash cloth out of it.
