I have been using the TNS Recovery Complex for years and was excited when the Serum came out. I had a really bad reaction to this formula. My skin was burned, swollen and eventually peeled. I spent three days with ice and aloe held to my face. Not everyone reacts the same, of course, but I don't have sensitive skin and was surprised by the severity of the reaction. I would be cautious with this and try and sample first. My skin care provider told me a few people, not many, have had adverse reactions to this. My dermatologist recommended the product to me. I used it faithfully for two years really hoping that the product was all that the company and my doctor claimed it would be. I honestly saw no difference other than my skin just aging as normal with no visible improvements in fine lines, etc.
Positives about the product are that it is packaged nicely, and is easy to use. Although I've heard some people say it has a bad smell to it, I didn't notice it.
The biggest problem with the product is the price. I would still be using it and hoping that something is happening, but it's just so subtle that I don't know - just like all the other products out there. We want to and feel like we should be using something, and I would have no problem using this product even though I haven't noticed any changes. I'm not expecting a miracle, but I would use it as a cream to put on my face and would assume that it like any cream (cheap or expensive) would do some good. BUT - paying about $250 each time for it locally (here on Amazon a tiny bit cheaper) - is ridiculous, unless a person has way too much money than they need in their life. Please don't go in debt thinking this product will be a miracle for you mainly based on their claims and the price of it. Many think because it's expensive it must be great. Well - it's not. It's no different than spending $10 to $15 at the local drugstore for a cream claiming its miracles.
Based on price alone and what you get - I should be giving this product a one star, but am being nice with two because if the price went under $50 - I would consider it because I still like to believe in my dermatologists opinion.

Our shipment was not received. Although we e-mailed the merchant several times, we never got a replacement or a credit for the skin medica items ordered. Several months later we are still trying to get the items resend or refunded.
