Well, this is a product for the eye but you can't apply it on the area under the eye and on the lid... Only on the external side of the eye where I basically do not have any lines.... I found it odd to say it is for the eye area and to provide so many restrictions on its use.... Maybe, as other comments say, it works well in combination with other skinceutical products (but I have to say that I bought 2 other products from skinceuticals for the eye area and honestly, I didn't see any improvement)
I would not recommend this product nor buy it again.

I have dark circles under my eyes, a bit of dryness, and those tiny little bumps which aren't as big as milia but are really annoying nonetheless. DermaDoctor recommended this product to help with those bumps in particular, and when I slather this on under and around my eyes before I go to bed, the most amazing thing happens - when I wake up the next morning and look in the mirror, I actually look rested! There are fewer lines, the surface looks smoother, and I feel refreshed (well, my eyes look like they are, anyway). I can't recommend this highly enough; after a month, it has become a permanent part of my nighttime regimen. And the price! Unbelievable. Review: Why does this product only cost $30.00?

I have been using expensive eye creams since my early 20's and when I turned 35 I wondered why I even bothered since I was beginning to get fine lines around my eyes. I've used other Skinceuticals products with much success so decided to try the Eye Renewal Gel. Within 1 week, I had fewer fine lines. I've used it now for almost a year and my lines are barely noticeable. I wake in the morning with no puffiness and my eyes look refreshed....even without makeup. This is the ONLY product for the eyes I've used that actually does what it says.
And...one bottle lasts at least a year.
