I went out on a limb and ordered this and some other stuff from this seller/brand. Okay, I gave two types of shea butter to my mom (she loves it) and kept this shea/cocoa butter mix for myself. It's unrefined. It smells natural. I absolutely love the way it feels on my skin. I bought it because I've suddenly developed some stretch marks for no reason ( no really, I didn't put on weight and I'm not pregnant). I hear that this is the only thing that can at least minimize the appearance if not get rid of them. Hey, it's worth a try. I will definately buy more of this.

It is solid, but it melts between your fingers or palms and applies like a thick oil. It absorbs about half way and then slowly absorbs the rest of the way by morning leaving your skin beautiful. I put a little in my hair too. This with the cocoa butter is a little more solid than the pure shea butter. I had bought some of the Palmer's stuff but I threw it out because it was watered down with additives, dimenthicone, and I believe parabens. I don't need that kind of stuff in my life. when I can get a jar of this stuff for about the same price, plus shipping. The only complaint I have is that the printing on the jar is pretty cheap quality. The steam from my shower re-liquified it and it left some kind of green goop all over my hands. I cleaned it from the jar and now I don't have to worry about it. I just have an unlabeled jar now.
