I was careful to buy the Sula Paint and Peels which lasted 6 months, instead of the ones which last for 24. Sulas with a 6-month lasting period, I've discovered, are much thicker and nearly never streak when applied with a steady hand. Conversely, those which last for 24-months seem ridden with various streaking problems (based off my limited experience with only two 24 month bottles, but some of my friends have reported similar cases). The two types can be told apart based on the description on the bottle's label, and the fact that 24-month Sulas have shiny, plastic caps, while 6-month ones have muted, matte-looking caps.
Recently, I wondered if the thickness of the 6-month formula effected the polish's lasting power(the polish dries in a thick rubbery finish, which makes it easy for the paint to snag). Several days ago, I added 6 drops of water to each of my bottles, stirred them and let them set for a day. The next day they were visibly thinner and wonderfully smooth during application; they dried in the same way they was supposed to, and were still removable by peeling. I'll update this review again to see if this experiment affects the formula in the long term. So far application and staying power is much much better. I wore each for 2 days with no visible wear and streaking.
Since I like to change my polishes often, I have not tried wearing Sula for longer term. I think of Sulas like eye shadow-- meant to last for a day-- so you can try on another color the next.
*4 stars because formula had to be thinned. I'd still hunt these down if I had to for purchase, because they suit my needs much better than the usual polish formulas. Most people, however, I think, may prefer a much longer lasting power than Sula has to offer. For those, look elsewhere! This is not the polish for you! B3-free and other water-based formulas are available!

*soak your hands in warm water. I usually peel mine in the shower, where they come off easily. DO NOT-- if you have worn your Sulas for over a day, peel the polish off directly when dry. This may take off flecks of your nailbed.
-dries quickly
CONS:
-color dries darker than in bottle
-short staying power
-24-month ones streak; 6-month ones are better when slightly thinned
COLORS I'VE ADDED WATER TO (altered formulas):
Watermelon:
3-coater. Smooth application and dries vibrantly coral red. Luscious color, but dries much darker than bottle ( a medium pink). Resembles a jelly. No visible wear or chipping after 2 days.
Haze:
2 or 3 coater. Smooth application, and dries very close to bottle color. Dries light blue-green. Resembles a creme. No visible wear or chipping after 2 days.
Azure:
3-coater. Smooth application, and dries darker, but still close to bottle color. Dries into a turquoise color. Resembles a creme. No visible wear or chipping after 2 days. Impressively, no chip wear at all.
I became sold on Sulas because of the environmental factor (no toxic chemicals!), no smell element, and the fact that it does not stain nails and requires no nail polish remover (I really dislike the smell). I really love them (as if it wasn't obvious from my fangirl review :P).
