The only great thing about this system is the fact that I can drink pop afterwards and not go yuck that dang toothpaste. I like not having that taste in my mouth after I brush. But, I didn't notice any whitening. I know some people who love it and it probably does work for them. I think it depends on the shade your teeth currently are. Mine are slighty stained, not too bad. Personally didn't like it. For $70 it ought to do wonders but it didn't at all.
