Review: A ShavingSoap Made The Old Fashioned Way

Tabac Original is made from tallow. It has lubricating properties that aren't found in many soaps. It lathers up to a rich creamy lather in the brush. I can shave with less fear of getting nicked when I use it. And then there is the scent. It has an odor resmbling fresh pipe tobacco. I don't particularly like it but I don'd hate it either. I use it in a rotation with other shaving creams and soaps. Most of those are not tallow based. That allows them to be very slippery but they are not as protective as Tabac. Most of the good competitive tallow soaps cost considerably more. I would reccomend this to a friend looking for a good soap in a very nice container.
