Review: Not worth it.. try a different pre shave oil

This is one of the most disappointing products I have tried since coming back to wet shaving (after my electric razor broke down). I now shave exclusively with a double edge safety razor.
AOS pre-shave oil is thick, gooey, and tacky -- not slick. It looks like olive oil, but once it is on your hands it has the feeling of slightly warmed Crisco or lard. It is sticky and takes forever to wash it off my hands. I kept using it, primarily because I didn't want to throw it away (I'm cheap and that would be like admitting I got ripped off).
I've tried with and without it, using various shaving soaps and cremes and I can't tell any difference, except for the greasy residue in the sink and having to stop and wash my hands with soap to before shaving.
Seriously.. there are much better (and cheaper) pre-shave oils out there. Give this one a pass.
