Review: An Excellent, Economical Product!
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I have been using this product for a number of months. It leaves the lids primed and ready for shadow without creasing your eyelids. The bonus is that you squeeze it from the tube (I use my fingers) and don't keep dipping an applicator in and out of a "tube" which can lead to contamination of the product. It's certainly worth the money and is as good as any other on the market!

Review: Awesome 'insurance'
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I am such a makeup junkie, and have many shadows that I adore. I never realized how important a shadow primer was until I got hooked on the Makeup Geek website. Marlena suggests Too Faced Shadow Insurance, along with several others. It wasnt until I purchased it for myself, that I realized I was missing out on a fantastic way to get my shadows to adhere and last throughout the day. I love this primer. It has been a blessing to finally know that my creative 'makeup artistry' will now last much longer. I do plan on trying Urban Decays primer potion also, but for now, Im hooked on Too Faced. Love it! It has taken away my eye shadow meltdown. I do have oily lids, but with daily cleansing and using witch hazel, it helps a lot. I havent had a too oily moment with Too Faced yet. Im thoroughly happy with this product.

Review: Awesome product!
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I don't currently own any Too Faced eyeshadow but I do plan on getting some! But, back to this review. I bought this based on several other reviews and compared it to Urban Decay. I want the most for my money so I wanted to give this a try first, being as it's easier to get the product out of the tube. It works great! Even with cheaper eyeshadow (I used Avon to test it out) and my eyes still looked nice hours after application. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great way to keep eyes looking beautiful all day long ^_^!

Review: Beats Urban Decay's Primer Potion hands down.
Beauty product: 5 Stars

I know people swear by Urban Decay Primer Potion but this beats that easily. Primer Potion must be formulated for dry skinned women who never sweat or have to deal with humidity because it did nothing - I might as well have put water on my eyelids. My shadow was creased and mostly gone after several hours. Too Faced Shadow Insurance is an entirely different story. It makes my shadow last without creasing until I take it off. And the tube is great. Urban Decay's little bottle may be cute but it's really annoying and the sponge applicator doesn't really work well - you end up having to use your finger anyway so what's the point. This stuff is absolutely the best primer I've ever found.

Review: Does exactly what it claims to do! Give it a try.

This product makes wearing eyeshadow and liner a pleasure, as it keeps it in place for hours.

I can't give you exact hours- but it will last through your day at work and into evening, in my opinion.

I even fell asleep overnight with it on and when I woke up- shadow was intact.

Ideal for anyone who has a problem with their eyeshadow/liner disappearing, fading, or who have oily eyelids that cause their make up to *melt* away.

The real test will be the hot, humid summer season- but right now, I have to say this product is a must have if you like to wear eyeshadow/liner and like it to look freshly applied.

The tube is ample and will last you a long time, so though it seems pricey, it really isn't. Not when you consider how long one tube will last you.

You do not need a lot to get the job done!

A tiny little dot on your index finger, (for each eyelid) is all you need.

Be sure to gently spread from lash line to browbone. Let dry for 2 minutes- then put your eye make up on.

This product does not have any offensive odor.

In fact, it comes close to being fragrance free.

I wear contacts and so far, no problems with irritation.

As far as removing it- use soap and water or eye make up remover.

I am glad I found this product and it was the rave reviews of other users, that convinced me to give it a try.

So, now I am chiming in here with a review, so that maybe someone else will take a chance on TOO FACED SHADOW INSURANCE :)
