Review: The best primer I've tried Beauty product: 5 Stars
Now that many people know the benefits of using primers on the lid for eyeshadows, almost every brand has some type of primer available. Two Faced Shadow Insurance is my pick after trying numerous ones. I had hooded lids that can get oily at times. The consistency of the TFSI is thicker and drier than others i've used. This might sound like a recipe for disaster but it keeps my lid dry and prevents creasing better than for example UD primer potion (the formula is too thin and watery). The packaging is also easier to use and allows you to get every single ounce of product out. At $17, do not be scared off by the price, this one tube can easily last a year. I use shadow 5 out of 7 days of the week and i still have plenty left after 9 months.
Review: Too-Faced Primer Ins VS. Urban Decay Primer Beauty product: 4 Stars
I live in Central Texas were it's been over 100 degrees daily the past two months. I needed an eyeshadow primer that would help keep my shadow in place and not melt off in the heat.
I loved the look of the pretty Urban Decay primer bottle, however, there is still a lot of product leftover in the bottle that you can't reach with the doefoot applicator. I think it's a waste to throw it out with so much product remaining. The Too-Faced Primer Insurance tube ensures that you can squeeze every last bit of primer out. You just use a tiny little drop for each eye and dab or pat it on. Don't stroke it on unless you want wrinkles later. Let it dry for a few minutes, then apply your eyeshadow. I used it with Sephora's eyeshadow and the colors didn't melt off in the heat.
Both the Urban Decay and Too-Face primers work equally well, but if you are basing your purchase on packaging I suggest you purchase the Too-Face primer.
Review: great great great Beauty product: 5 Stars
i've used this a lot and i even use it as a concealer on my blemishes before i put on my actual concealer and foundation or powder and it stays on like all day even tho the concealer itself doesnt like to stay on. i would highly recomend this to anyone; one of the awesome guys at ULTA suggested this product to me when i asked for a good eye shaddow primer. its not shimmery or anything and it really really stays on, i was playing with some eye shaddows and was trying to use some water to clean off the eye shaddow but i primed my eye xD it hardly came off i was even rubbing at it with a cloth and then my hand xDDDD i've had it for so long and missplaced it that when i found it it was really separated so i squeezed it into a sealed pot and mixed it a little and it works like brand new i like this stuff!
Review: love it Beauty product: 5 Stars
This product is smooth and really helps with a great eyeshadow application. You don't have to use much so it will last you for a while. LOVE IT!!!!
