If you've never shaved with a pre-shave oil, you have to give it a try. I thought it was a gimmick, but I was wrong. And I'm so happy I was wrong!
All you need are 3-5 drops worth! I have a very thick beard and get a good 5 o'clock shadow at around 2 o'clock! After a nice hot shower (which is the best time to shave), I take 3-5 drops and rub it over the beard for about 30 seconds. It's actually very relaxing. I then apply the shaving cream - I prefer Truefitt & Hill shaving creams - with a brush. Also very relaxing. And what follows is the smoothest, most effortless shave! No nicks, cuts or dry, irritated skin. In fact, sometimes I don't need an aftershave, because this oil does such a nice job.
With 5 times a week use, this bottle lasted me about 4 months. Not bad at all.
