This product is well worth the money. Traditional plastic lash combs have teeth that are too thick and blunt to be effective. They just kind of push one's eyelashes around instead of combing between them. In the past, I resorted to using a push-pin to separate the clumps. The Tweezerman is essentially a bunch of thin, tightly-spaced push pins embedded in a comb. The teeth will start falling out after several years of use, but these combs work so well that it's worth purchasing a replacement every 3-4 years. Review: My love

I've had this product for almost ten years. I'm only online looking for a new one now because I'm pretty sure that I should from a hygienic standpoint. With this thing, I've never had to worry about what kind of mascara I get because it fixes any clumps or eyelash sticking that the mascara causes. I like to put mascara on my upper lashes,SKIP THE LOWER LASHES,use this baby on the uppers, then gently use it on the lowers. There's just enough mascara that came off of my uppers on the comb that I can get the perfect amount on my lowers. The only reason why I didn't give this product 5 stars is that it's hard to clean. However, I don't think this would be any different for any other comb. Review: The Best I've Found

This is one of the best beauty products I have ever used. I first purchased one of these years ago in NY, and hadn't been able to find one since. This lash comb works incredibly well. The plastic tine ones are too thick and I've always found them to be useless. The Tweezerman metal comb separates lashes really well.
I will mention the couple of minor drawbacks I have had was that over the years a few of the tines had fallen out, so I had been searching for a replacement for awhile before I found one on amazon.com. I have been using this new one for a month and have had no tines fall out, so I hope that this weakness has been corrected. Just clean it carefully and don't pull on the tines. Users should also be aware that part of why this comb is so effective is that the metal tines are very thin - and have much sharper tips than plastic combs. Exercise common sense caution when working around your eyes.

I have loved the metal eyelash comb I bought many years ago. When I started losing a few teeth from my original one, I looked but didn't know where to find another one for years. The Tweezerman lash comb is very effective. It's teeth seem to be narrower than my first metal eyelash comb; that probably means it does a better job at separating lashes. But be careful, as the tips of those narrow teeth are very sharp! I've poked a finger and made myself bleed with it several times. This is not really a problem--just be careful. The one thing I didn't like about this lash comb at first is that, for some reason, when I apply it to my lashes, it is hard to see where I'm starting, and I'm worried that I may poke my eye (which I have never done, thankfully). I never had this problem with my first metal lash comb. Other than that, I'm *very* happy with this product.
