Product reviews of Tweezerman Folding Nail Clipper w/ Case

Review: Tiny but not perfect.
Beauty product: 4 Stars

I really like these and don't have the a problem with the file. The only problem I have is that I feel like the cutting edge should be curved more. Because it is so straight I have to do many small clips to get the correct curve. Overall I really like these anyway for travel but I still use normal clippers at home.

Review: Very Satisfied With This Clipper
Beauty product: 4 Stars

I have had this clipper for several years now. I like how compact it is. I feel the cutting ability is satisfactory and the quality is good. I don't know how it would hold up with constant use, but I don't feel it was made for that. I use it for emergency nail cutting when I'm away from home and need clippers NOW. Always been grateful to have them.

Review: Who's the idiot that designed this?
Beauty product: 1 Stars

Good concept, but poor, poor, poor design/implementation. Awkward to use. I hated it and was actually happy when I lost it one day.

Review: nice package but soft metal=weak performance
Beauty product: 3 Stars

Good design but the metal is more flexible than comapared to the INOX (French brand) clipper so the Tweezerman model isn't able to cut half the time; fully depressed and nothing has happened for example.

Review: not impressed
Beauty product: 1 Stars

I bought this clipper after buying the Seki Edge Stainless Steel Fingernail Clipper and finding out that that the Seki just wouldn't work for me as a carry around clipper. As an older man that often works in dirty, rough conditions, I need a nail clipper that easily fits in my pocket, operates quickly and easily, especially for broken or torn nails and has a nail file and cleaner. The Seki doesn't have the cleaner/nail file and is rather too large to carry around anyway.

The Tweezerman folding clipper is the right size and has the cleaner and nail file, but it's a clumsy affair. The nail file/cleaner just flops around, often getting in the way when you're trying to clip your nails and the cleaner portion is far too large/thick to effectively get under your nails. Clipping the nails is a real challenge, at times, with this clipper. There isn't much leverage and the clipper goes to the completely flat, fold-up position when clipping the nails. That's not good for those of us with arthritis...... It's also difficult to clip hang nails.

In summary, I'm sorry that I got the Tweezerman clipper and don't see any reason not to stay with the MUCH CHEAPER and easier to use Revlon Classic Nail Clip - 1 ea.
