I was hoping this protector would allow me to comb my lashes without getting mascara on my eyelids. It does protect the eyelids, but it is hard to see black lashes against the dark blue protector, so I can't tell if I am really combing anything. In addition, the comb doesn't seem to be able to go through the lashes when the protector is behind them. I find using this instrument to be very awkward. Review: Okay

I should have listened to the previous reviews. If you have a make-up person applying your make-up then it might work.
However it made a mess when I tried it.

this sounds like it would work but it doesn't. It is too hard to hold it and put mascara on at the same time, plus it doesn't sit close enough to the lash line. Skip it!
