The thought of putting anything on my skin with petroleum in it,YUCK!!Came across this by accident, and absolutley love it. It does tend to be greasy. (hello.....it's un-petroleum jelly) so I apply it at night, and say good bye to dry skin. With summer soon approaching, apply to your feet before you go to bed, put on a pair of cotton socks, and wake up with your feet so soft and smooth, you'll have a great excuse to go buy a new pair of sandles!! Review: Greasy in all the right places!

I have a pretty decent case of eczema on my legs that I can't seem to shake. Desperate to find something natural I found un-Petroleum Jelly online and the reviews had me convinced. I bought a bottle and tried it out for myself. Like most people, I do find it rather greasy, and really thick, so it feels gross on my legs. Unfortunately, it did very little for my eczema. Around the same time, I started noticing a patch of eczema surfacing on the corner of my mouth. Not again, I thought. I had an inkling that my lips were sensitive to lip balms with peppermint flavoring (AND THEY ALL SEEM TO HAVE IT) because even the most natural Burt's Bees balm never seemed to do the trick. Apart from that, it left my lips SUPER chapped. Remembering that I had the jelly collecting dust on my dresser I had a crazy idea. I used the jelly on my lips and, after a week or so of petroleum withdrawal, my lips are super soft and not chapped at all! This stuff is amazing and, for my lips, it will last forever! Ditch the peppermint Chapstick and slather this stuff all over your lips. It's awesome! Review: Great product!

I became allergic to the lip gloss I used to use for dry lips. So I switched to Vaseline. After two years I began to have a bad reaction to it, including peeling lips. Yikes!
Then I discovered Un-Petroleum Jelly at the local health food store. I carefully read the label. I don't remember how long ago it was, but it has been years now. It works great, and no reactions! Yippee!
But the health food store sometimes takes a long time to get something back in stock. I think they have management problems or something. I need some now, and they are out. They were out of it the last couple of times hubby checked for it, too. So I decided to look online. And bless you Amazon, for carrying it! Bless you, bless you, bless you! I love Amazon!
Review: High rating for dry/wrinkling eyelids! (eczema patch maybe)

My husband bought this stuff a couple of years ago for our toddler's eczema on his arms, legs and back. The doc said Vaseline would be good right after the bath and my husband didn't want to use that so he got this safer substitute. I thought he was being neurotic and never really used it (all such jellies seem too sticky/annoying).
A couple of weeks ago my eyelid was driving me crazy, being so dry and looking kinda wrinkly in that area and my Clinique expensive eye cream seemed only to be irritating it. So I used petroleum jelly for a night or two but was getting bad headaches but they felt like those kind of headaches you get behind your eyelids (you know those kind deep in your eyeballs?!) so I got nervous then found this orange bottle and thought "why not."
Wow - it works! No headaches either. I've tried face lotion, face cream, eye cream, Vaseline, and maybe one other thing but this one actually makes my eyes (even wrinkles around eyes) appear better and not so dry at all by the next morning. It might not work for all with eczema but if that's what I have on my eyelid, this stuff seems to take care of a lot of it.
