This was my first Urban Decay purchase and first high-end make-up purchase. I'm thrilled! Drug-store shadows of any price can't compare to UD. The colors are beautiful, and with this palette alone you can create tons of great combinations. My favorite look to do with this palette is a golden smokey eye, which is the colors Honey and Zero, with Scratch as a highlight. It's gorgeous!
Also, the trial-size primer potion really lives up to the hype. I thought it wouldn't work for me, because I have very oily skin & eyelids and deep-set eyes. It works tremendously. I have put on the primer and eyeshadow at 9:30AM, and by 10PM, the color is STILL THERE, with no fading or creasing! You should definitely buy this, especially if you don't own the primer potion yet and want to try it.

This palette is truly perfect with vivid colors that can be played up or down, and neutrals for everyday. I'm in love with UD now, and worry that I won't have the money to feed my ever-growing addiction!
By the way, the product photo is a little misleading..the top left color is more pinky-fuschia, and the top right color is a rich royal purple, not blue.
