This collection of shadows is a must have for any makeup lover. The colors will suit any person, as there is a wide variety of choices to pick from. These ones aren't like the other urban decay shadows which have a tendency to become glittery. These are just shimmery but nothing like the others. Also the primer that comes with it is a must have as well, it makes your shadows stay put all day with no creasing especially if you have oily lids. I've got almost every urban decay box set since they have the silver ones containing the whole face kits, and i have to say i've never been disappointed. Review: Definitely Recommend!

I was an Urban Decay virgin until I bought this pallette. I figured it'd be a nice way to sample the colours and quality, as well as the primer potion I'd heard so much about.
And now, I'm finding it difficult to go back to any other brand. The shadows have great staying power on their own, but added with the bonus primer potion, I don't even have to pull out my compact during the day to make sure I'm not creased and smudged, or even faded. Once it's there, it's there till you decide to remove it.
It's incredibly easy to put these shadows on a bit heavy for a bold, vibrant look, or you just brush a little on, for a soft but fun look. Blends seamlessly. I love layering Zero over one of the bright colours for an intense, deep shade. Great for smokey eyes, if you like doing them.
Even the packaging is nice on this. I've been recommending this product to anyone and everyone who'll listen to me since the day I bought it. If you're considering it, go for it. You'll love it.

I really only wanted the green shadow (each color is also sold individually) when I came across this palette. If you are tired of basic neutrals and need to inject some color into your look, this is the way to go. I'm a fair skinned blonde and over 30 but I will say that every color works without making you look like you're trying to relive your teen years. I like to use them wet as a liner along the top eyelashes, but with a light hand, they can work as eyeshadow for day looks too. The shadows are soft, blendable and very saturated. A little goes a long way. They have shimmer but not glitter like some of Urban Decays other colors. Added bonus...it comes with a travel size primer which I was wanting to try anyway but not willing to plunk down the $15 for it. I will after I run out because that stuff is AMAZING. Your eyeshadow WILL NOT BUDGE until you take it off. Great stuff! I've always been a loyal Stila and Lorac user but am finding that more and more Urban Decay is creeping into my makeup kit. Try the glosses too! Review: I cannot recommend this enough. MUST HAVE!

Whether your look is "demure" or "drag queen", you need this set. I purchased it initially interested in the brighter shades...and wound up using everything, even the neutrals which I normally stay away from. Every shade is very versatile and can be used as subtly or dramatically as you like. The primer potion is a miracle, but really not even needed since the shadow is such a high quality. The case has a nice mirror in it, too.
