These colors are beautiful and not overpowering. I have many sheer shadows that only appear in flash photography for some reason so I was looking for colors that would really show without having to layer it on or without looking like Mimi from The Drew Carrey show. These are soft, matte, and nicely pigmented. Unlike other shadows that end up dusting my cheeks as well, these stay put, even without primer. The bonus is that many youtube makeup gurus use these colors in their tutorials so you can do a search using the palette or shadow name for looks and ideas. Review: Luxury eyeshadow ?!

This has to be one of the most luxurious eyeshadow palettes I've ever used! The colors themselves are widely usable, I think I've used fairly all of them by now. Though what is really remarkable is how they feel, they are probably the best kind of eyeshadow you could ask for, powder form, but perfectly tinted and creamy result! The key in shadows is blending and this line of shadows is so easily blendable! One of the reviewers said that it is shimmery without being glittery, I completely agree with that! It has a very gentle "adult" shimmer, and can be used wet as an eyeliner, or I love to use the bottom middle as a inner lid highlighter. These are great for daytime and night-time... as long as you control the tint... which is easy to do.. A little goes a long way!.

My friend and I are big UD fans. When her birthday came, I ordered this palette and gave it to her. She loved the colors! She usually has pretty colorful eye makeup on and this palette fit her style perfectly. The shadows last all day and stay true when they're on. These colors are VIBRANT. Wonderful color selection for those who aren't afraid to bring attention to their eyes.
Texture: just OK (slightly on the dusty side of dry)
Staying power: 5 hours for me without sealing potions or undereye creams
Cost: Great. Hard to find these intense colors! Individually sold, but I don't wear them enough to go through a bigger batch.
These are excellent party colors and pair great with black eyeliner and neutral lips / cheeks. Apply with a wet brush or sponge applicator for lively coverage, or brush on softly with your finger or dry brush for a slightly muted party.
**If you are excited but nervous about these colors, try the bottom three of the palette for some pizazz without the razz. You can also try the bolder colors by applying them as eyeliner. Dip a wet brush into the bolder color and run a thin line along your top lashes.
