This stuff is amazing. I've been using it for a few years now. It makes any eye shadow (even the dollar stuff) look deeper and more vibrant with NO creasing! And you don't have to use much of the primer to get a good base so it will last and you totally get your money's worth. Trust me, you'll be addicted! Review: It does its MAGIC...

When I purchased this item off of EBAY I was fortunate to get 2 of them. Both brand new (nothing dried up or watery about either of them). When I first tried it, I was amazed. I "test wore" it around the house. It lasted all day long, until I washed it off that night. Brush application alone wont work, I learned that using your finger to blend each eye lid evenly over each lid is the trick (I actually apply it by diping the brush & use my finger to take product off the brush, then apply by finger to my lids now--so I dont use the brush anymore across my lids), otherwise the brush will just have more product in various areas & the color wont be even. I also found that when I didn't blend with the finger, my shadow was more likely to crease before the end of the day. Its better when you let the product set (dry a couple of minutes) prior to shadow application as well.
I have OILY skin- on my lids, & my T-zone. I have tried numerous so-called "crease proof" shadows & primers before. But they all failed miserably on my lids. This is so far the best product to prevent eyeshadow creasing thus far! I use it on "special occassions"-(pictures, dinner date, clubs, parties, etc)rather than on a daily basis. Practice makes perfect when applying this product on the lids. I only apply it to where my eye lid creases, rather than my entire eyelid. Recently, I applied it with a black eye shadow (only on the crease area, in front of the lashes) and I used this REVLON DIAMOND LUST shadow (sheer & sparkly) on the upper lid & blended it into the crease area. Would you know this eyeshadow lasted that entire evening all the way into the next morning when I woke up to wash my face, without a single smudge or crease? I was AMAZED at the performance of this product. I love it! Anybody who has oily skin, & problems with their eyeshadow staying in place for long periods of time like I use to...BUT THIS PRODUCT!! Its a muct have for your cosmetic bag or Make up kit!!

Too Faced has an eyeshadow base called "first base" that has a light golden shimmer..... works just as well, if not better than, Urban Decay's primer... without the white, chalky residue left on the part of your eyelid that is not covered in eyeshadow. Review: Best eyeshadow primer

If you like to weat vivid eyeshadows, this primer will make the colors pop (even on African-American complexions). If you like to wear cream shadow, this will keep it from creasing or becoming greasy by the end of the day. You will have to TAKE your eyeshadow off at night before you go to bed.
It's awesome! I always keep an extra one in my drawer in case the current one runs out unexpectedly. Pricey, but definitely worth every penny.
