Victoria Secret Vanilla Lace is truly refreshing and sexy. My husband loves the scent and sometimes other comment on how wonderful it smells. The only down fall is that it is over priced. I guess this price is based on the discontinuation of sale at Victoria Secrets. Review: LOVE IT!

I'm a big fan of vanilla smells. But not overpowering. My wife had a bottle of this, and used it sparingly over years because VS had discontinued it. But APPARENTLY, so many strippers use this, and VS got so many complaints, that they had to bring it back. Personally, the smell is not at all trashy, it's a very subtle scent, very aromatic, and it's my favorite that she wears. She wasn't thrilled about that little factoid though. I thought it was funny. And it's true. I bought several bottles in case they decide to discontinue it again. I wouldn't let that fact ruin it for you- it's an elegant and great scent. Review: Very vanilla, but not in a good way.

When i heard this was Victoria's secret's highest selling item, it made me curious to see how it smelled. The scent is very strong and sweet, and quite frankly too overwhelming. It isn't the kind of scent you'll wear everyday, more like the one you'll use when you run out of your favorite one. I often found myself spraying large amounts, because the scent doesn't last very long. I was pretty disappointed with this product, it's mediocre and is the same quality of an imitation perfume at a drug store. Victoria's secret has some really good beauty products, but this is just awful. It gives me a headache every time I even think about it. For anyone who likes sweet, musky scents, this is for you. But if you like classy, subtle scents with light notes, this is not for you. The longevity of this scent is too short, a good fragrance should last all day. It's currently sitting on my dresser more than 2/3 full, because i don't use it and will never use it again. This is the last fragrance i'll buy from their garden collection, next time i'll be sure to stick with the PINK and Beauty Rush items.
