It burns very slowly which amazed me, but it is the scent that I am hooked on. I can't explain how it completely relaxes me. I have never had that reaction to a candle before, and would never have bought one that was advertised as smelling like "church." This was given to me as a Christmas gift. It does have a scent reminiscent of church incense but it isn't overpowering the way church incense are. Instead, it is just incredibly calming. I burn it for a few minutes before bed and have been sleeping soundly for the first time in years. I am addicted. I was shocked to see the $25 price tag with $7.95 for shipping - but I have to have more of these regardless. I lOVE them!
