Review: Touche Eclat -- A little miracle in a wand

I'm 54 years old and hesitated to try this expensive product until I read a lot of reviews and took the plunge. Boy, am I ever glad I did, too. This stuff is like a face lift in pen form. It doesn't cover up blemishes and under eye circles or marionette lines, etc. so much as it seems to make them disappear by reflecting light, without any of the gunky, cakey look that most concealers (particularly the ones for under the eyes) create. It doesn't sink into under-eye creases or any other creases, for that matter, and you can use it just about anywhere you need a lift, or any of the dark shadows on your face. It creates a lifted effect, and a diffusion of imperfections. It doesn't even cake after hours and hours on your face either.
I never would've believed that anything could work this well while not being a thick, heavy cover-up. And it works better than any previous cover-up I've ever tried. It even covers freckles and the occasional breakout.
Definitely my one "desert island" cosmetic, and I can't see ever being without it, so long as I have a job. By the way, I'm using the peach tone, which is particularly effective at diffusing under-eye circles.

Review: awesome HIGHLIGHTER, not CONCEALER

I read some reviews about this not being a great concealer, but I never used it as a concealer. It's a highlighter, hence the name =). This is the best product I've ever used, it's the one makeup item that I must have at all times. I hardly ever wear makeup, but when I do, I never quite look right unless I have this on. It highlights any area that looks dark or hollow. Even on days when I don't wear makeup, if I need something to make me look bright and awake, I wear this alone. It makes me look fresh and glowing. I know it's pricey, but I'd gladly pay double for the results this delivers. I've tried cheaper versions, but this is by far the best. It never cakes and the color is just right for my olive skin. I only need very little product so one pen lasts me a very long time. I always get comments on how great my skin looks when I wear this, even if I'm wearing no other makeup. This stuff is AMAZING!!! They're "out" at Nordstrom's, so buy online FAST - well at least #2! Can't "do my face" w/o and is and easy pick up in the early evening before leaving home. I combine with Neutrogena Summer Glow for face, self tanner w/ 15 spf - for "older skin" this leaves skin looking very natural, not made up, fresh and revived! Review: Works great.

This product is luxurious. The most important thing is that really highlights the skin, and doesn`t cake. Works really good to cover nasolabial folds, but for eyes and cheeks I prefer other highlihting products, f.e. Lancaster Sunlight Palette in Natural.
Touche Eclat looks like it`s gonna last months, because you need just a bit. But is pricey, so for that one star down.
