I have taken this mirror all over the world to places like Africa where there are no electrical plugs. It is a great product; good brightness for battery operated. And you can zoom anywhere from normal to 5 x + everything in between. Review: Very nice

This is a very handy mirror. It does exactly what it says. The magnification is certainly appropriate for my needs. It comes with suction cups, so you can attach it vertically, or you can use the self-contained stand (as in the picture).
The 3 LED lighs are not the brightest, but then again you don't want to be blinded if you are trying to put on makup. They do an appropriate job, in any case. I don't know what'll happen if I need to replace them, but LED generally last a long time. The mirror has a receptacle to attach a transformer to use AC power, but it does not come with it. It will take 3 AA batteries to power the zoom and the LEDs.

This product doesn't stand up to the usual for Amazon. The mirror will not stand up. Once the zoom has been activated the - (minus zoom) feature will not re-align the mirror. All in all a terrible disappointment with all that it promised in the pre-purchase discription. The light too dim. Nothing was as promised. Review: great seller...but...

the concept is great. the variable magnification is a novel ideal. But...it just doesn't have the brightness from the built-in LED's. I returned it since my fiance said it was unusable unless you have an alternative light source. She said it works great in daylight where you don't need the illumination. the seller was great...took it back with no hassel.
