Product reviews of Zeno Hot Spot Blemish Clearing Device, Blue Review: Consumers beware Beauty product: 1 Stars
I do not have bad acne at all, but purchased this item to help with the occasional breakout. Unfortunately, this product did not do what it claims it can do. I saw no improvement in the spots treated even after multiple treatments. Don't waste your money!
Review: Cool little device Beauty product: 5 Stars
What can I say, this cool little device is exactly that.....cool. PLUS it works! Worth a try and its safe on the skin. If it doesn't work for you, you can get your money back. I really like it and highly recommend it . It clears pimples up fast!
Review: Cracks after 3 uses Beauty product: 2 Stars
I recently purchased the Zeno Hot Spot to try for the first time and found that after using it about 3 different times, it cracked in three different places around the treatment tip. I realize that this is a disposable device and that it is intended to be thrown away after 80 uses, but it should still be in decent condition while I am trying to use it! I followed the instructions perfectly and did not do anything to make the device crack. Not to mention, my roommate also purchased one and the very same thing happened to her Zeno Hot Spot after having it for just a day. So obviously this is not just a fluke. On a positive note I will say that I noticed that my blemishes had diminished a little after using the Zeno only a few times, so I have no doubt that it works. Therefore I may invest in one of the original Zeno models that have the replacement tips, and not the disposable unit. So if you decide to try this out, just be warned that the device may crack. I'm fairly certain that it can still be used after cracking, but I can't say for sure. So good luck!
Review: DONT WASTE THE MONEY Beauty product: 1 Stars
1. Costs WAY too much. heat up a spoon with a lighter and stick it on your face instead
2. Doesnt work. pimples arent really fading or disappearing.
3. Use an abrasive face wash like St Ives apricot scrub
4. ACNEFREE pimple patches WORK!!!!! about $15.00 (again, pricey) but they do work. Buy these instead.
Review: Definitely useful 80% of the time Beauty product: 4 Stars
I do love the Zeno hot spot, but it is not effective for all pimples. As you may or may not know, there are plenty different kinds of pimples and acne. The Zeno hot spot would say that it's not for cysts, but sometimes it works for me. The first Zeno I got was defective and would not turn on when I touch the on button, but then Amazon gave me a new one and it works fine! I use it on pretty much any type of pimple. Of course, it is the most effective when I use it the day that the pimple appears. I usually do one treatment at night and then again the next morning. About 50% of the pimples are gone with this treatment. The other 50% take another day or two before it goes away or is on the path of going away.
I would recommend the Zeno Hot Spot for anyone who doesn't have a face full of pimples. If you do, please go see a dermatologist as he/she will be able to give you a face wash and/or on the spot medication that will dramatically diminish your condition. If you occasionally get pimples (even if it's a couple of times a week), the I recommend that you get this as it will help control, but if you get it all the time, but not enough to make you want to see a dermatologist, you might want to get something more permanent as the Zeno only have 80 uses. After that you will have to throw it away and buy a new one. If you use one Zeno a month, that's $40 a month (I believe that's the going price right now at Amazon). Within a year you would have spent $480, the same amount it costs to buy one that has unlimited uses.
