I have sensitive skin and am always willing to pay to ensure that my face is taken care of. That being said, I have used several different shaving gels/creams and have always returned to Clinique's Shave Cream - until now. I was always curious about Zirh products after seeing them featured on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I picked up several of their products focusing on the morning/shaving process. I have to admit that this shave cream is by far the best shave cream I have ever used. I experienced a very smooth shave with absolutely no discomfort or post-shave redness. I highly recommend this product. The experience I've had has inspired me to try some of their other products despite my believing them to be a bit pricey. Review: ZIRH Shaving Cream

I bought this shaving cream (in search for a better cream then what I'm currently using) with the intent to use with my boar-hair brush - and this shaving cream is not intended to be used with a brush. (So I am disappointed that I didn't read into the product more thoroughly. If you like an ALOE shaving cream that leaves a tingle after you use it, than you would like this shaving cream. It does a nice job of lifting your facial hair to get a good shave. My favorite shaving cream, however is still the violet scented Geo Trumper from England. Review: Zirh Shave Cream

A little goes a long way with this stuff. Super slick, no odors, I really like it. It starts as a cream, then with a little water and work it into your face and it almost becomes a slime. A crazy lubricating goo that washes off clean and protects amazingly well. There is a similar product by Jack Black which I enjoy a little better, but this is cheaper and had .4 oz more. It almost resembles cold cream in consistency. I know most people think the razor is the most important part of the shave, but I use disposable razors, this (or the jack black), and the post shave balm from Nivea and it has changed how I shave. If you are giving this as a gift, also get the post shave lotion from Nivea... trust me, it's worth it. And yes, Zirh is more expensive, and they don't sell it at walmart. But remember, they don't sell Ferrari's there either.
