I started using this product a week ago, and after the first time I shaved, I could see the difference. I have no more irritation from shaving and can shave close and back-to-back days without having irritation, bumps, or razor burn. I was skeptical at first, but this shaving cream is absolutely the best. If you have any irritation from shaving, use this product. I have fair skin and a tough beard, so this has been great! I have sensitive skin and am always willing to pay to ensure that my face is taken care of. That being said, I have used several different shaving gels/creams and have always returned to Clinique's Shave Cream - until now. I was always curious about Zirh products after seeing them featured on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I picked up several of their products focusing on the morning/shaving process. I have to admit that this shave cream is by far the best shave cream I have ever used. I experienced a very smooth shave with absolutely no discomfort or post-shave redness. I highly recommend this product. The experience I've had has inspired me to try some of their other products despite my believing them to be a bit pricey. If you're like me and cursed with very sensitive skin and a tough beard, this product is for you. After trying various gels, foams, oils and lighter creams, I'm sold on Zirh's Shave Cream.
As another reviewer has stated, this product is not soap based and will not lather like you may expect. Instead, it is an extremely dense, moisture-rich cream that will soften your stubble and protect your skin from razor drag. Daily shaving is no longer painful nor will it result in nicks, burns or general shaving trauma. Afterwards your jawline and neck will feel smooth and soothed.
Because the product is very dense, you will have to rinse your razor while shaving far more often than you may be used to doing. Not a drawback for the product in any sense, but something you will need to remember.
I usually purchase two Shaving Creams at a time (the smaller tube product for easier travel in your grooming kit and the larger 'tub' for home use). If you're not used to using a tub for your shaving product, I recommend a badger shaving brush to apply the cream. You'll find that you use less product with each application, by which an often expensive badger brush will pay for itself in no time.

I'm a convert. This is the best shaving cream I've ever used! It is not soap-based. It has no harsh chemicals. It leaves my skin feeling well moisturized and clean. It's really amazing stuff!
Just rub a small amount onto your skin and it creates a smooth, lubricating, protective layer between your skin and the razor blade. It doesn't lather and it doesn't dry your skin, because it's not soap.
It may seem a little expensive, but it lasts so much longer than a typical can of Edge gel that it's totally worth it. Try it and you won't switch back.
