Review: Customer service SUCKS

Zoya recently offered a Facebook promotion where you could get 3 free bottles of polish for only the cost of shipping. I was so jazzed about the 3 free bottle promo, and I spent over an hour carefully picking out my shades. I somehow missed the promo code entry box, so I went ahead and placed my order anyway, with the good faith that customer service would refund my card for the charge ([...] did this for me once, so I was positive that Zoya could do the same). I made sure that I emailed immediately after putting my order through, and mentioned the code. I got in touch with Ron in customer service after 5 days of no response, and he was unable to refund my card retroactively, so I asked him to cancel the order. I am not so much angry as I am disappointed. I work in retail, and I know we all roll our eyes when a customer threatens to take her business "elsewhere," but in this case, I will certainly do so. I'm very sorry to provide a negative review, but the fact remains that I got excited about a wonderful promotion, and was disappointed through a lack of exemplary customer service.
