I did the research between CHI, this and other flat irons, and decided to purchase this one off Amazon, saving me money from the Sephora store price. I use it every morning. It takes just a couple minutes to straighten, flip or curl my hair. It's an amazing little machine. Auto shut-off gives me piece of mind because sometimes I can be forgetful. The iron gets very hot, so I use some Biosilk to protect my hair. I've had no damage. Review: worth the hype

I just got it today and im very satisfied with it. it is authentic because i contacted GHD to confirm that amazon is an official stockist.
I chose the white one because its not a very common color in hair straighteners. Pink and Blank can be seen everywhere else. The Box is the size of a shoebox, or even bigger and it came with 2 booklets and the Instructional DVD. Watching it wont waste your time.
it has the reset button for the plug and less than 30 seconds, it beeped in a weird unexpected way and started flashing the LED to announce that its ready for me to use. It gave me 15 more minutes to do everything else since it cut my straightening time in half. Thank you GHD and AMAZON. =)
