it does not stain!!! it is a nice water resistant (not waterproof by the way)mascara but it also kind of stings your eyes and is difficult to remove all the way. It rather paints lashes with a silicone/latex-like kind of coating that is easily pulled off. Think bopo peel off nail polish from when you were little. I WAS REALLY disappointed in it. Be smart & go get your lashes professionally dyed for less than this costs.
